News sites and blogs often refer to undecided voters... and I have heard people say that they don't exist... that there is no way someone could not know who they would vote for on election day... well until yesterday I was undecided... I honestly could not make up my mind given the choices that have been put in front of me... but with election day being tomorrow I am almost out of time...

I do not have a party affiliation... and if I did I would never vote down party lines just for the sake of doing it... in my mind that is so incredibly closed-minded  and outdated... which in my opinion, happens to be one of the big problems with our election process... I vote for the person that I think will take our country in the best direction for my family and the country... I have voted on both sides of the line... and right down the middle actually...

A lot of times it is pretty easy for me to decide... this time not so much... I can say with a pretty good amount of certainty, that none of my options in this election will take our country into a positive direction... That's a scary conclusion to come to... a government that is prided on being for the people and by the people has come down to this... Anytime a good number of people have settled on voting for the "lesser of two evils" we have a problem... and Social Media is making that problem a million times worse.

Social Media has turned something that is already a circus and made it worse... the amount of slanted stories being quoted and shared as fact is mind blowing... and the usually normal Facebook poster has become a hate filled social media assassin... a platform that is for sharing your thoughts has turned into a place where you get blasted if your thoughts don't align with your "friend's" thoughts... And while I am on that train of thought... just like you might be appalled and shocked by the fact that anyone could vote for that loud mouth, rude, hostile Donald Trump... the next person might be appalled and shocked by the fact that you could vote for that cheating, stealing, criminal Hillary Clinton... which one of you is right? In my opinion... both of you... but the truth is you don't have to agree and that's OK... what's not OK is attacking people when they don't agree...

But why wouldn't you attack those that don't share your views? That's what the campaign process has become... and all you have to do is be awake to see and hear that... Millions on millions on millions spent on negative ads... in the 2012 election cycle, almost $3 billion was spent on the presidential race... think about that... how many times have we heard about the economy and deficit in this election? The people we are supposed to trust to tackle that spend billions on bad mouthing each other?! And they will say anything it takes to get elected... 8 years ago the Obamas bashed the Clintons and the Trumps were friends with the Clintons... my how time and money change things...

And despite the ads you have been bombarded with... no one candidate is better than the other as far as I am concerned... voters are just more willing to look the other way when it comes to their candidate... Trump supporters overlook his "locker room talk" and tax returns... Clinton supporters overlook her emails and "pay for play politics" in a country of 325 million people... we have to vote for people that we are willing to look the other way for... that saddens me...

Another scary thought... whoever gets elected after this crazy carnival will still be insanely rich... they won't deal with the problems we deal with... their choices in office won't hit them the way they hit us... we have to go to work and school on Wednesday and continue to try our hardest to make a life for our families... in the system handed to us by people not working for us.

So it comes down to tomorrow... and what I am going to do with my vote... I considered not voting at all... in a way voting only encourages the continuation of this outdated, close-minded, closed door system... and maybe someday, an organized No Vote will be what finally forces it to be fixed... but not this time around... There are also important issues that need to be voted on, so i can't bail on those...

I have decided to vote "None of the Above" for President... I will be writing that in on my ballot... I can not justify voting for any of my options in the 2016 election... I have heard people talking about having to look at themselves in the mirror and feel good about who they voted for... Not voting for any of these people is the only way I can do that... I am prepared for the cries of "YOU WASTED YOUR VOTE!" and that's an opinion you are entitled to when it comes to your vote... but my vote is mine... my right... in the words of our President... which I voted for twice... it's "my one chance to stand up and make myself heard... my one chance to decide which direction I want our great country to go..." I want my voice to say I am not happy with where we are... I am not happy with where any of my choices will take us... and I don't think our leader should be the one who wasn't as bad as the other guy...

Just my 2 cents... Happy Voting...
