Brendon Urie Goes Hip Hop With Juice WRLD Feature

Emo rap is a real thing, and Juice WRLD is leading the charge.

The emcee had his big break with "Lucid Dreams" and is back with a new, highly angsty, Benny Blanco-produced single called "Roses." To legitimize his emo cred, the rapper recruited none other than Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie to help out with the track.

The singer comes in for the second verse, lamenting "Say you want my love and I believe you / But every look you give, it's like I'm see-through / Show me that you want me like I need you / And I need you, yeah." SO. EMO.

Check out "Roses" below, and listen for Urie around the two-minute mark.

The P!ATD frontman recently divulged a want to diversify his band's music a little more, suggesting they incorporate metal, among other genres, into their sound.

ā€œI always feel as though I need to be more diverse,ā€ he admitted to Rock Sound. ā€œYes, all of the Panic! albums do sound different and have their own vibe, their own aesthetic and imagery, but I still feel like I can do more. Even from song to song within one album I feel like things could change even more drastically, and maybe thatā€™ll happen as time goes on. I still have so many different things that I want to do, particularly in terms of genres."

Could Urie return the favor and get a Juice WRLD feature on the next P!ATD album? We'll just have to wait and see.
