President Donald Trump announced on Twitter today that he is banning transgender individuals from service in any capacity in the U.S army.

By the way - this is coming from a president who is quoted as saying this during his campaign:
"As your President, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology."
Sounds like he needs to work on the "hateful ideology" on the homefront as well.
