Vote-By-Mail Ballots Being Shipped Today In Broward

Postal workers will be busy in Broward. Today's the day the county begins mailing Vote-By-Mail ballots to the 300-thousand voters who have requested them for the August 18th Primary. Supervisor of Elections Peter Antonacci says they have about 100-thousand more requests for mail ballots this year than in years' past and they are receiving about 1-thousand new requests per day. The primary is closed-so only Democrats can weigh in on who will run for Florida's 8th Congressional District in the General Election November 3rd. You must be registered to vote by July 20th, Early voting begins August 8th and runs through the 15th.
