Florida congresswoman Val Demmings is incredibly honored to have been considered as Joe Biden's running mate.
Central Florida Democrat Val Demings was one of those Joe Biden was considering as his VP pick before he chose California Senator Kamala Harris yesterday.
Demings says she feels so blessed to have been in the running as someone who grew up poor, black and female in the south.
She also says Harris' place on the ticket reaffirms her faith that in America, there's a place for every person to succeed no matter who they are or where they come from.
