Sex Offender Arrested for Sexual Misconduct with Underage Co-worker

Hallandale Beach, FL - A sex offender employed as a shift manager at a South Florida McDonald's was arrested over the weekend for allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior with an underage co-worker.

Police say 31-year-old Jakeem Quayshonne Jackson had been listed on the state sex offender registry since March of 2022 after he was accused of touching the genitals of a paraplegic man while working for a Broward County paratransit service.

The Hallandale Beach Police Department responded to a call from the McDonald's located at 111 N. Federal Highway on Sunday morning after a worker reported Jackson's inappropriate behavior the previous day.

According to police, the underage girl stated that Jackson hugged her against her will and persisted in holding on to her despite her attempts to break free.

Jackson then allegedly touched her genitals over her clothing.

Video evidence provided by the victim showed Jackson repeatedly approaching her, despite her pleas for him to leave her alone.

Brad Ashlin, the owner/operator of the McDonald's franchise, issued a statement condemning the former employee's behavior.

Ashlin confirmed that Jackson had been terminated immediately after the incident came to light.

Jackson is currently held in custody at Broward Main Jail on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation involving a minor.
