Wounded Veteran Tells Little Girl Why She's His Hero
If there is one video you watch today please let it be this video about 5-year-old Tempy Pattinson from Darlington talking to veteran Simon Brown.
Tempy has always felt very proud of the soldiers that serve her country so she decided to raise money by doing a triathlon. Yes, you've read that right. A five-year-old girl did a triathlon and swam 100 meters to give something back to her heroes to put themselves in danger to keep her safe.
When Help For Heroes caught wind of this little girl's incredible dedication, they invited her to sit down for a one on one chat with a real life hero Simon Brown a soldier who was shot during a rescue mission in Iraq and lost 80% of his sight along with 25 operations to rebuild his shattered face.
When Simon Brown asked Tempy "Why did you do it"?
She responded...
"I just thought I could give a present back to them by raising them money. I'm quite proud of the soldiers"
We need more people like both of these amazing individuals in the world.
