Mother Of 4 Fighting Cancer Gets Flash Mob Surprise During Filming Of Her GoFundMe Video

Amanda Kofoed has four young children and with her diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma she was terrified she wouldn't be able to see them grow up and would saddle her family with medical bills for a long time. A GoFundMe campaign was set up to help with their bills, but a group of do-gooders called the PRAYnksters had something else in mind. They organized a flash mob with 200 people who donated $13,000 to give the family some relief.

It's heartbreaking to read / watch this story about a woman named Amanda, a mother of four young children who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and hearing the story of how she is terrified not only at the possibility of never being able to see her children grow up butleaving her family with massive medical bills for years.  

It's just not right.  It's not right that we have to go into debt in order to get provided with proper health care coverage while the rest of the world has moderate costs associated with medical coverage.  It's a broken system and I can go on forever but will spare you the outrage.

Amanda's friends and family decided to setup a GoFundMe to help alleviate the pressures of the expensive medical bills during Amanda's fight against Hodgkin's Lymphoma.   When Amanda and her husband showed up to record what they thought was going to be their GoFundMe video, they soon found out that dozens of people in the form of a flash mob were lined up to give them both a donation of $100 each.  When all was said and done, they were able to raise $13,000+ to help the family during this difficult time.
