I remember being on a cruise ship last year when we hit rough seas and seeing out the window grey skies one minute and the deep blue of the ocean the next as the incredibly massive waves rocked the cruise ship back and forth. Luckily, we were still moving and making our way to calmer waters, but what if you were stuck in that rough sea for hours?
That's exactly what happened to a Norwegian cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. The Norwegian cruise ship suffered engine failure which caused the ship to be stuck in high winds and extremely rough waters as it tilted back and forth sending furniture and people flying on board. Just watching the video from inside the Norwegian cruise ship made me want to vomit.
The 1,300 passengers on board had to be airlifted one by one.
