High Tea Refill: Lindsay Backpedals

  • Lindsay Lohan is now backpedaling on comments she made last week regarding the #MeToo movement where she said the women stepping forward made themselves look weak when they're actually strong. Somebody in her camp must have reminded her she'll soon have a reality show on MTV to promote, however, because is now saying her comments were taken out of context and what she actually meant was she's concerned women stepping forward with false accusations will dilute the women and men who are brave enough to speak on what's actually happened to them. If I'm being honest, I kind of thought that's what she was ATTEMPTING to say originally, but that doesn't change the fact that she went about it the completely wrong way. If Lindsay is attempting to make a full on comeback like presume she's doing, it would probably be in her best interest to just have all interviews done through email where her and three other people can proof read her answers for any and all "mistakes."
  • While doing a sit down to promote her new song "Nasty One," Lil Kim said that she's past her feud with Nicki Minaj. She basically said, I wish her the best, but she knows what she did and where I am when's she's ready to make it right. Which reads, to me, as "I'm dropping this for now, but fully reserve the right to revisit it in the future when it's time for me to promote something else." But it's nice that Kim is moving past it and clearing the air. Even if she waited for all of us to completely lose interest in the situation.
  • Lena Dunham is still a garbage human being. For several different reasons. Tweeting a list of potential baby names her and ex boyfriend Jack Antonoff came up with is just one of those reasons. Is it rude? No. Is it weird and unnecessary? Absolutely
