You would think in 2018, with everything happening in the world the way it is, people wouldn't be stupid enough to blame someone's ex for their passing, but... It's 2018 and people are still stupid enough to blame someone's ex for their passing. During his podcast "The Shane Show," one of Mac Miller's friends Shane Powers defended Ariana Grande saying she was "willing to go to the wall" to try and help Mac get a handle on his addiction issues. Ariana has yet to speak out on Mac's passing, or the subsequent backlash, and I kind of hope it stays that way. Outside of maybe sharing some nice words about him, no one is entitled to any thoughts or feelings from her regarding the matter. I can't even begin to imagine what a devastating loss like that feels like, but I can't imagine one of my first thought's being I needed to broadcast what I was going through to the rest of the world. Despite how much of our lives we all choose to share these days, some (a lot of) things deserve privacy and respect. This being one of them.
