I was listening to your show yesterday and I heard some of you got upset because the guy from Bizarre Foods- Andrew Zimmern said that there were no go places to eat in Orlando. People here got so mad that that he had to take it back. Get out of here.
I'm from New York and I have to agree, this place sucks when it come to good food and great places to eat. In New York you could find a great restaurant on every corner. I've been here two years and I have to say that all the restaurants here sucks. If it doesn't I haven't heard of it. You guys make me laughs when you talk about your "Foodies". You don't have Foodies here. All you have is fat people that like to eat. These are the people that are saying that food here is great. Get out of here. A hamburger with a fried egg on the top doesn't make it a great dinning experience. We were doing that in New York 10 years ago.
This city also needs a good New York Italian restaurant. All they have is "Chain" places. I need a place that don't have a kid's meal. A place where the food is so good, it takes 2 months to get in. A place that doesn't have road side service. But your Foodies would rank this place a ten because they got a free salad. Got out here. I won't even get into Pizza. There is no New York Style pizza here. Two slices and a soda for $5.00. All pizza here sucks. Just because the owner is from New York doesn't mean he can make pizza.
Instead of getting mad at Andrew Zimmern, restaurants here should just do better. It's embarrassing.
