The first step to an awesome Jack-O-Lantern is cleaning out the guts of the pumpkin... It's my least favorite part... It's messy and gross. There's a pumpkin hack making the rounds on social media that lets you hollow them out a lot faster... and without scooping the gunk out with your hands.
Cut the hole in the top... You'll need a power drill, and it doesn't have to be a professional grade drill, and the attachment for a mixer... put it in a power drill like a drill bit... and go to town. Then just dump the gunk out of the hole you cut.
