Doja Cat Drops New Video for "Boss B*tch" from Birds of Prey: The Album

Urban contemporary princess, Doja Cat goes to town (sorry, I had to) on thugs in her new video for "Boss B*tch", the second single off of Birds of Prey: The Album.

In the video, Doja rocks a DC Comics-inspired look with punk rock fish nets and doll-like makeup while beating up guys in alleyways, shooting bazookas, and dancing in clubs. The song finds itself nestled between a Nicki Minaj-inspired delivery and a heavy house beat one might find on an Azealia Banks record satisfyingly presented in a way only Doja could pull off.

The upcoming DCEU movie Birds of Prey has more in common with predecessor Suicide Squad than an Atlantic Records-backed soundtrack. It also prominently features Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn character so its only natural for the album to be packed with exclusive bangers from badasses and bombshells like Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Saweetie, Summer Walker, and yes, Miss Doja herself.

Many of the scenes in both Doja's video and the video for first single "Diamonds" feature a well-edited juxtaposition between what the performers are doing and scenes from the movie where Harley does the same. Watch Doja Cat slay out in Gotham above and check out Birds of Prey and its accompanying album on February 7th.
