BTS Return With Fifth Studio Album 'BE,' Drop 'Life Goes On' Music Video

BTS just dropped their new album, BE!

The South Korean pop stars released their highly-anticipated LP on Friday (November 20), celebrating the septet’s first full-length project since February’s Map of the Soul: 7 and July’s Map of the Soul: 7 — The Journey.

The boy band, who initially signaled the release of their fifth Korean-language album in August with the promotional record “Dynamite,” also dropped a new song and video for the LP's lead single, titled “Life Goes On.” (Watch below.)

BE, released via Big Hit Entertainment and Columbia, features eight new tracks including songs titled “Telepathy,” “Skit," "Blue & Grey,” “Stay,” “Fly to My Room,” and “Dis-ease.”

In a press release, BTS stated BE “imparts a message of healing to the world by declaring, ‘Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on.’”

“This album is like a page in our diary of the times we are currently living in. The album title BE represents ‘being’ and captures the honest thoughts and emotions we are feeling at the moment,” Jin explained to The Rolling Stone India of how the album's title conveys its emotional transparency. “We’ve included a lot of chill and laid-back songs that anyone can enjoy, so we hope many people can find comfort through this album. I think this album will give us an opportunity to grow further as artists who can represent the current times through music.”
