Every year my wife and I, along with a few friends, take a trip to celebrate our anniversary... We have done cruises, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Jamaica, Cancun... and this year we decided on the Dominican Republic...

Last Minute Travel Club is helping us put on our Johnny's House "Off The Grid" Trip to Mexico this year... so I signed up for a membership... I had no idea just how awesome that membership was until I started searching for hotels in DR... Seriously... even if you aren't going on our trip (and we hope you do) you would be crazy to miss out on signing up for the FREE membership!!! Booking was easy... and they were actually really helpful steering us in the direction of a resort that had all of the stuff we were looking for... and the best part... we saved about $100 a night off the rate that other sites were offering which allowed us to extend our vacation to Key West!

We stayed at The Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana... The resort was perfect... Top Shelf everything... which to us is a must... All Inclusive... the food was amazing... the beaches were amazing... the staff at the resort was great... and we had a blast! We took a boat out to Saona Island, which might be the most beautiful place on Earth... the water glows it's so blue... we jumped in the water where they filmed the movie Blue Lagoon... and got to hold Star Fish... it was the best trip I have ever been on!

We followed that up with 5 days in Key West... We went deep sea fishing (I caught a few fish... my wife caught the bottom of the boat)... we went snorkeling... and I took my GoPro so we got some sweet photos...

Our new thing is to see as many places as we can versus spend money on material things... So we are planning our next trip (and saving for it too)... And we will be using Last Minute Travel Club for sure!
