A Treasure Coast man faces charges after being caught on bodycam video dragging a police officer with his car.

19-year old Dylan Morgan was pulled over in Port St. Lucie on Saturday after an officer noticed a tinted windshield, loud muffler and tinted taillights. The officer started questioning the driver after noticing a strong marijuana odor.

The officer tells him he doesn't care about "a little bit of pot" to which Morgan tells him "I'm scared of cops, bro."

Soon after, the man hands the officer a black bag. Then, when the officer asks Morgan to step out of the vehicle, Morgan instead hits the gas, dragging the officer about 15 feet before he was able to jump away from the car.

He was hospitalized for injuries to his foot and hip, while Morgan was arrested after returning to the scene. He faces several charges.
