Citizens Property Insurance Continues Receiving Claims From Hurricane Ian

Citizens Property Insurance says claims as a result of Hurricane Ian continue to come in.

Chief Claims Officer Jay Adams says they've received nearly 60-thousand claims so far.

Adams says they've paid about 66-percent of those claims so far and anticipate about 100-thousand in total and adds a couple hundred claims per day continue to come in. He expects that to continue into the new year.

Citizens estimates that direct losses and loss adjustment expenses will total $3.8 billion from Ian.
