Bus Stop Sex Attacker of Haitian Women Arrested in Orange County

Orange County, FL - A man's been arrested on four counts of sexual assault for assaulting several Haitian women at bus stops in Central Florida between January 1st and February 25th.

On Wednesday, Orange County Sheriff John Mina announced the arrest of 30-year-old Nelson Odige who was involved in a series of bus stop sex attacks in the Pine Hills area.

Odige was charged with four counts of sexual assault that occurred between January 1st and February 25th at bus stops along or near Hiawassee Road in Orlando.

Detectives noticed similarities in the cases, and with the assistance of the victims, they were able to identify a vehicle of interest, which led them to Odige.

The sheriff's office revealed that Odige confessed to committing the sexual assaults, telling investigators that he lived near the area where the assaults took place and would target Haitian women at bus stops on his way home from his overnight job.

The sheriff's office is urging anyone who may have been a victim of Odige's to come forward and report the incident.
