Miami, FL - A second lawsuit has been filed in Florida over the controversial 50th home run ball hit by Shohei Ohtani, with a fan claiming to have been in possession of the ball before it was taken by the man who initially left the stadium with it.

Joseph Davidov, a fan at the game, claims to have been in possession of the ball before it was taken by Chris Belanski, the man who initially left the stadium with it.

Belanski, along with Kelvin Ramirez and Max Matus, have all claimed ownership of the ball, which is currently up for auction through Goldin Auctions with a current bid of $1.464 million.

Due to a legal dispute related to Matus' lawsuit, the sale of the ball is temporarily halted pending a hearing on October 10th.

Davidov's lawsuit alleges that he successfully grabbed the ball but was dispossessed by an unknown fan who jumped onto him.

The lawsuit seeks damages of over $50,000.

Max Matus, who was celebrating his 18th birthday at the game, has also filed a lawsuit claiming he was the rightful owner of the ball before it was taken by Belanski.

Matus’ attorney is expected to present video evidence of the scramble for the ball during the October 10th hearing.
