Doesn't look like you'll be spending this July 4th on the beach or in the pool, scattered thunderstorms are predicted on and off for the rest of the day. National Hurricane Center's Jack Beven says a developing area of low pressure to our east has a 60-percent chance of becoming a tropical depression or Tropical Storm Chantal by Saturday. The storm is expected to take aim at North Florida and the Carolinas. The wet weather in South Florida is unrelated, but it's wreaking havoc on July 4th parades and firework shows. Pembroke Pines has cancelled its celebration set for tonight.
