Term limits Cross A Huge Hurdle In Miami

Miami Commissioners voting 3-to-2 for term limits. Commission Vice Chair Joe Carollo calling it a big mistake. The proposal limits elected officials to two four-year terms as mayor and commissioner. As it stands now, an elected official is limited to two consecutive four-year terms, but there's nothing stopping them from running again. Voters will have the final say during a special election this November.
