(Fort Lauderdale, FL) - A big stash of cash and pot seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in a smuggling attempt out of Fort Lauderdale.
According to field director for Miami, Carlos Martel, 185-thousand dollars and more than a kilogram of marijuana was interdicted. He says it was "all on ice and headed to the Bahamas."
Martel posted on X..."It turns out crime doesn’t travel well - especially when it’s packed in a cooler."
