Several sea turtle nests along a Palm Beach County beach have been destroyed by rough surf and beach erosion.

The nonprofit Sea Turtle Conservation League of Singer Island estimate that over 100 nests were washed away along a strip of sand in the past month.

That's the worst they've seen in at least 20 years.

The surf and erosion was whipped up by some of this year's named storms.

Sea Turtle Nesting season wraps up on October 31st.
