Polk County, FL - A Polk County commuter contacted authorities after encountering an unexpected sight on Broken Arrow Trail, where deputies say a man was allegedly walking completely naked in 36-degree weather.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the individual was identified as 41-year-old Anthony Day.

The incident was captured on the reporting driver’s camera before deputies arrived at the scene.

Sheriff Grady Judd later described the footage and said it clearly showed Day walking without any clothing.

He noted that Day did not appear to be wearing socks or any other items when deputies located him on the roadway.

According to Day’s arrest report, he allegedly told deputies that the situation stemmed from a TikTok prank that had not gone as planned.

The report states that when deputies attempted to confirm his identity, Day refused to cooperate and said he was trying to protect his privacy.

Deputies reported that he later provided an address that was determined to be false.

Day was taken into custody and transported to the Polk County Jail, where he was booked while still unclothed, according to the arrest documentation.

He faces charges that include exposure of sexual organs, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer without violence.

Officials have not released any additional information on whether the alleged prank involved recordings or other participants.

The investigation remains open as deputies review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
