Kourtney Kardashian is looking back at a special day in her family's life.
On Thursday (November 6), the Lemme founder commemorated her son Rocky Thirteen Barker's 2nd birthday by sharing a rare photo of her little one on Instagram alongside a caption reflecting on the the night he was born. Kardashian welcomed Rocky, her fourth child and first with husband Travis Barker, on November 1, 2023.
The selfie was seemingly taken from the Kardashians star's hospital bed shortly after her youngest son was born, per E! News. In the pic, Kardashian was seen lounging in bed in gray pajamas while holding her newborn, whose face was covered with a white heart emoji to protect his privacy.
In the heartfelt caption, Kardashian quoted Nancy Tillman's children's book On the Night You Were Born as she reminisced about her first night with her son.
"On the night you were born, the moon smiled with such wonder that the stars peeked in to see you and the night wind whispered, 'Life will never be the same,'" she wrote. "Because there had never been anyone like you... ever in the world."
Kardashian's tribute comes days after her rocker husband shared his own birthday shoutout to Rocky, calling him a "special soul" and stating that "no one's cooler" than the toddler.
In addition to Rocky, Kardashian is a mom to three kids — sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, and daughter Penelope, 13 — with ex Scott Disick as well as a stepmom to Barker's kids, son Landon, 22, daughter Alabama, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 26, who she shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
