Aimee Lou Wood, who played Chelsea on The White Lotus season 3 and was one of the biggest standouts this season on HBO, is sharing how specific words made her feel “ugly” and people are really honing in on it.
“Someone told me how much Mike [White] had fought for me. They said ‘it had to be you, no matter what HBO said,'" she remembered to GQ. “It was honestly from the nicest place, but my little head goes: HBO didn’t want me. And I know why HBO didn’t want me, it’s because I’m ugly. Mike had to say ‘Please let me have the ugly girl!'"
Tanya Rad shared on-air that fans are really resonating with this because everyone has had an experience when you find yourself jumping to conclusions and tearing yourself down.
