The next time you feel stressed - Try this method!
It is called the 5,4,3,2,1 Trick! (Or the grounding method) Just think about five things you can see . . . four things you can feel . . . three things you can hear . . . two things you can smell . . . and one thing you can taste.
This is something that Rae also learned in Therapy to help with anxiety. It supposed to make you focus on your senses and not the thing that is stressing you out.
For me (Rae) sometimes I just do one thing for each of the senses. For Example:
Feel: My hair
Hear: AC in Studio
Smell: My hand sanitizer
and Taste: My Fresh water
It is something worth trying :)
