Lots of Central Florida schools have plans for today's solar eclipse.
At Lake schools, outdoor activities from 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. will be moved indoors, including physical-education classes, recess and sports practices, according to the district.
Students who are absent or check out of school early Monday to view the eclipse with their families will be allowed to make up any missed assignments. They won’t be penalized for their absences.
