I had to write this to make everyone in Central Florida stop with the UCF stuff. Come on Ya'll. We're not college football's national champ. That title belongs to University of Alabama.
What made this even worst is the City of Orlando getting involved and claiming UCF as the Champ. When you do this, you really let the world know how Smallville Central Florida really is. We want to be a big city so badly that we give ourselves a title we didn't earn. The rest of the country is laughing at us. "Cute little UCF, didn't make the playoffs so they gave themselves an award" UCF had an amazing season. We're all proud of what you did and what you were able to accomplish but National Champion, NO. It really got embarrassing when the Governor made them Florida's National Champ. It's like your parents giving you a participation award. It's cute but inside you know you didn't earn it.
It would've been a great game with UCF vs Alabama but it's not going to happen. You look like a bunch of spoiled brats. Celebrate the great season you had and move on. It's a bad look UCF, let it go.
For the next couple of years start putting more nationally ranked teams on your schedule and then we can talk about a national championship. Until that happens, enjoy your Peach Bowl win and SHUT UP! Please
