When did the universe try to tell you something but you didn't listen?

Have you ever been given signs from the universe that you shouldn't do something, but did it anyone and had to pay?? That happened to Brian this weekend! He had plans to go on a weekend get away for his birthday and minutes before leaving on Friday, his dishwasher broke and his kitchen flooded. When he was getting his boat ready to go, he noticed the warning light on and was not longer able to take his boat. When he was getting on to his friends boat, he dropped his phone and broke it. At this point, all signs were pointing to going home but he was determined to have a good weekend! Before he knew it, he was in the ER with pieces of broken shell in his foot.
