Thursday night at a private event with the NFL (I got passes from a client) I met a professional football player by the name of Eric. He fit the mold. 6'3, very muscular, African American with long braids in a ponytail in the back. We just hit it off. He told me he was a professional football player, but he didn't go into details. I thought it was cool because most of the NFL players at the party wanted you to know who they were and what team they played for. Eric wasn't like that. He said he was in town for the Pro Bowl. I just assumed he was playing in the game!
We decided to hangout Friday evening and Saturday night because he had football related stuff during the day. We had a great connection. He introduced me to some of his old college teammates who were in town for the Pro Bowl. Everywhere we went with his old college teammates was VIP and we never paid for anything. We made plans to see each other after the game. He didn't know that another one of my clients got me sideline passes and I was going to surprise him by being there. I texted him that I was there on the sideline and nothing. I haven't heard from him after that. I tried looking him up and couldn't find him. This is a true Missed Encounter. I have his number, can you'll call him and find out what happened.
